Laura Konkel was born in Toronto. She is 24 and is currently attending law school at the University of Ottawa.
Laura has a Masters degree from King’s College London (UK) Intelligence and International Security. Laura also
attended the University of St Andrews in Scotland where she graduated with an MA in International Relations.
Laura has been volunteering with different charities most of her life, from travelling to Zambia with Habitat
for Humanity to running in the Dublin Marathon for Right To Play.In February of 2014 Laura received the Governor
General of Canada’s Caring Canadian award. This is Laura’s second book. The first was Wannabee In... London With Me!
She is always there for others, which is why Laura volunteers her time to write these books to raise funds for children’s charities.

Marcus was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario and lives just north of the city in Newmarket, with his wife and two children.
He has been working as a graphic designer for 23 years. Marcus has worked in every aspect of the graphic design industry and can
now add his second Wannabee book design to his extensive portfolio. He owns and operates a very successful international graphic
design company, nrgCreative Services, where he provides innovative designs for clients from all over the world.

Andrew is an up and coming freelance photojournalist from Toronto. We think that one
day he will be a superstar! Andrew has donated his time to take some extraordinary photos for this book. He
has had a passion for photography from a young age and he is a recent graduate of the Photojournalism program at Loyalist College.
His work can be seen in publications such as the Toronto Star, Metroland Media, Argonauts.ca and The London Free Press as well as many other outlets.
